Overview

Enterprise-grade payment gateway co-built from the ground up as part of the core team at Serviots. TrustPay24 processes over 400,000 daily transactions for fin-tech clients, supporting multi-currency settlement, real-time fraud detection, and detailed reporting dashboards.

Challenge

Designing a fault-tolerant transaction pipeline that could handle peak traffic surges without dropping requests, while keeping response times under 200ms and passing PCI-DSS compliance requirements.

Solution

Built a microservice architecture with an event-driven queue for transaction processing, Redis-based idempotency keys to prevent duplicate charges, and a PostgreSQL primary/replica setup for read scaling. Implemented a React-based merchant dashboard with live transaction feeds and anomaly alerts.
